Our Feather & Down Filling combines the support of premium European duck feathers with the softness of down clusters, creating a luxurious, resilient, and naturally plush filling. The small feathers provide structure and bounce, while the down adds a soft, airy feel that enhances loft, insulation, and overall comfort.
Sourced from ducks raised in the colder climates of Europe, this filling delivers feathers and down with exceptional fullness and curl, that are also responsibly sourced and RDS-certified. Highly versatile, this luxurious filling offers excellent insulating properties and is widely used in bedding and apparel. Its soft, sink-in feel and plush, full appearance also make it a classic choice for cushions and traditional upholstery.

Premium European Feather and Down Filling - RDS Certified
European Feather & Down Filling is composed of 80% European duck feathers and 20% European duck down. The small feathers from the body of the duck provide structure and resilience, while the down, the soft clusters from the underside of the duck, adds natural loft and exceptional insulating properties.
Shed and collected as part of food production, these materials are a valuable by-product of the global food industry. After harvesting, both feathers and down are carefully washed to ensure cleanliness and purity, then graded and blended to maintain consistent quality. Sourced from ducks raised in colder European regions, the feathers are fuller and more naturally curled than those from warmer climates, allowing them to trap more air to achieve superior fill power with less filling.

Delivery quicker than expected and delivery instructions followed. Excellent product. Value for money when I compared against other suppliers. I used the feathers to boast up existing feather and down seat and back cushion pads. Great quality and easy to fluff up. So comfortable to sit on. So good I ordered more to renovate another settee. I noticed one of the other comments but I found that the odour was just from the plastic bags rather than the feathers. I used the commercial feather proof ticking and double seams which means that the feathers should not come through. An interesting challenge not to get too messy when filling the new covers I made!
Kay ColesArrived promptly, lovely fresh smell. I have used this to add to our quilt which was getting a little thin. Worked really well made the quilt warmer but not too heavy.
Sheila Smih-TaplinUsual good delivery standard. Not had long enough to test the resilience of product however so far pleased how it stuffed and it feels conforming and soft. First time I have used feathers so had to get used to handling and getting it into the inners. Slight odour, so sprayed with a nice room fragrance. Might put a lavender bag in the next. Used a curtain .liner to make inners and now wonder if too many feathers will migrate through fabric in time. I wonder if there is a special material you can buy, such as some newer coverings in duvets to stop this.

Super quick service and well packed. No bad smells. a few scratchy feathers - but that is to be expected if your budget doesn't stretch to pure down!! Pleased with blend. I used it to add 450g to a cheap down sleeping bag. Much better loft now and warmth now.
