Calendered Cotton Cambric
Originating from the French commune of Cambrai, cotton cambric is a flat-woven, tight-weave material. It is finished through a calendering process where it is passed through heavy rollers at high temperatures, sealing the weave and producing a smooth, shiny, down-proof surface that helps prevent feathers from protruding.
Made from 100% cotton, derived from the seeds of the Gossypium plant, our cotton cambric is entirely natural and has been tested and certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, ensuring it is free from harmful chemicals. For more information on the OEKO-TEX® certification and testing standards, you can visit the OEKO-TEX® website.
