Hailing from the French commune of Cambrai, our white calendered cotton cambric is a flat-weave, tightly structured fabric. It undergoes a calendering process, where it is passed through heavy rollers at high temperatures, sealing the weave and producing a smooth, polished surface with a down-proof finish that helps contain fillings and prevent feather protrusion.
Made from 100% cotton, sourced from the seeds of the Gossypium plant, this fabric is treated with optical brighteners to achieve a crisp, bright white appearance. It has been tested and certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, guaranteeing it is free from harmful chemicals.
